This week we’re sticking around the Great Northwest to feature the film photography of carliepenning as our newest #followfriday. Read on for a look into her process then click thru and give her a follow.

“Shooting film has taught me a lot of things; the most important one being how to slow the heck down. I’m currently taking full advantage of remote work, meaning I’m never in the same place for more than a month and my free time consists of trail running, hiking, or skiing. Before I picked up my first film camera, I would snap photos at the same quick pace I tend to live my life. Shooting film has been an incredible exercise in stopping, looking around, taking it all in, and enjoying the process.” - words and photography by carliepenning made with #OlympusMjuII on #Portra400 film
