Tino Piontek, better known as Purple Disco Machine, took his name as a tribute to funk legend Prince and the Miami Sound Machine. His sound was born in the clubs of East Germany and has since evolved into a global force—earning over 1 billion streams and multiple European airplay hits like “Hypnotized,” “Fireworks,” “Dopamine,” and “In The Dark.” A club favorite and the #2 best-selling Beatport artist of all time, his catalog includes dancefloor staples like “Body Funk,” “Dished (Male Stripper),” and “Devil In Me.”

A Grammy winner for his remix of Lizzo’s “It’s About Damn Time,” he’s also delivered high-profile reworks for artists like Dua Lipa, Elton John, Calvin Harris, and more. In 2022 alone, he played over 80 shows across Europe, the U.S., and South America, with standout sets at Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Ushuaïa Ibiza. A true powerhouse in modern disco and house.
