Hubert ‘BoomBass’ Blanc-Francard has worked tirelessly to revive the legendary French Touch duo Cassius after the tragic death of Philippe ‘Zdar’ Cerboneschi in 2019. The spark for this revival ignited during Hubert’s DJ sets in France and abroad, where he performed alongside Étienne de Crécy and Falcon. The overwhelming positive reactions from audiences, especially when playing Cassius hits like “Feeling For You” and “I <3 U SO,” convinced Hubert that the story couldn’t end there. With the belief that the name Cassius still resonates on dancefloors worldwide, he’s determined to bring the duo back to life.

Cassius made its official return in late 2024, beginning with a Best-Of release on 11 October, followed by the first Cassius Club date at Paris’ Rex Club on 9 October. The concept is now extending globally, with Hubert joined by a mix of longtime collaborators and new talent. And there’s more to come in 2025, with even more surprises planned. The iconic line “Cassius rockin’ non-stop since 1999” is back and ready to take over dancefloors once again.
