Over the past five years, Ben UFO has earned a reputation as one of dance music’s most daring selectors, known for his ability to blend genres and eras with ease. Rooted in UK rave culture, his sets combine dubstep, drum ‘n’ bass, house, and techno, creating a unique balance of considered and raucous moments. Ben’s DJ style is unpredictable, seamlessly transitioning from broken rhythms to four-on-the-floor grooves, often surprising the crowd with unexpected twists, old favorites, and hidden gems.

As a co-founder of Hessle Audio in 2007, Ben’s growth as a DJ is intertwined with the label’s evolution, which became a focal point for a new, percussive, and expansive UK dance sound. The label’s releases and Ben’s DJ sets, along with his long-running radio show on Rinse FM, have shaped the UK dance music scene.
