What an incredibly wonderful spring week ☀️🌼☀️
And it couldn't have started better for me 🤩

Last Sunday, or rather in the early hours of Monday morning, I was able to photograph the center of our galaxy for the first time this year.

It's always a great joy and always special to observe and photograph the first rise of the year.

And it's also the best time to capture the entire arc of the Milky Way.
That night, I took two panoramas.
One was a 360-degree panorama with single shots, and the other was a stacked 180-degree panorama.

Today, I’d like to show you a simpler picture.
The shots below were the last pictures of the night.
And I was running late.
The sky photos were taken during the early dawn at 3:50 AM, followed shortly after by the foreground shots.

The sky was already getting brighter and bluer by the minute at that time.
Not ideal, but it was still possible to photograph the Milky Way.

You can see a hut on the eastern part of the Loser in Bad Aussee. The mountain on the left is the Trisselwand. This mountain, rising about 1,000 meters above Lake Altaussee with its distinctive, approximately 600-meter high rock face, is considered, alongside the Loser, to be one of the local mountains of the Altaussee community.

The prominent western pillar, also known as Preußpfeiler, separates the west face from the southwest face.
A popular mountain for hikers and also for base jumpers 🙂
