5 Garden Facts  🥒 A single fruit from a zucchini plant is actually called a zuchina. It’s not a zucchini unless there’s multiple fruits.  🧄 The city of Chicago is named after garlic! The Native American word “shikaakwa” is translated as “garlic” and French Traders started calling the area “Chikago” and it stuck.  🧅 Egyptians saw onions as a symbol of eternal life, and filled their mummies with them. They also paid pyramid workers in onions. 🍅 supreme Court labeled tomatoes as a vegetable, even though they knew it wasn’t a vegetable. However, in order to collect tax on tariffs, they decided to label it vegetable so they could make more money.  🌽 The second you pull sweetcorn off the stalk it begins converting sugar into starch.
