Earlier this month, a convoy of 100+ company trucks drove along Wisconsin highways throughout #SheboyganCounty to bring awareness to suicide-prevention resources during May's Mental Health Month. The convoy was vital as truck drivers are among the 5th highest risk group for work-related suicide.
 
From Johnsonville's Transportation Team, Traci and Joe volunteered their time on a Saturday to drive Johnsonville's fleet, joining dozens of other employers in the 3rd annual Suicide Awareness Convoy organized by the Mental Health America Lakeshore. The 50-mile convoy started in Oostburg and concluded at the Kellnerville Bar & Banquet location.
 
Johnsonville Member Barbara Walters - a longtime volunteer of the local chapter's suicide-prevention efforts - brought the opportunity to Johnsonville to see if there was interest. In true fashion, Johnsonville and several members came together to support it. We applaud the time and talent donated by so many in this awareness effort!
