I was really sad I lost my voice, got laryngitis, and sprained my ankle right before the wedding 🫠. Kevin and I had been secretly practicing in voice class in the 3 months prior to the wedding. Truly, everything that could go wrong did go wrong. I thought long and hard about whether I should lip sync everything, but we did it live. 

Please excuse any audio/visual issues you have. This was a monster of a video to block videographers for and set up mics. You'll see the BTS vlog in the next video on how everything got set up. We only ever did 1 run-through with everyone quietly and that was all we got. You'll understand in the next vid. We decided not to have IEMs, and all of us didn't realize that we could not hear the music during the live performance. We just had to wing the timing and hope it worked out. 😬

The post production was also a nightmare. The Premiere Pro project has 14 video tracks and 39 audio tracks. We spent MONTHS trying to clean the audio and sync it to all of our bajillion cameras. I now have so much deep respect for anyone who works in live productions.

I hope you enjoy this wedding banquet entrance! A traditional Taiwanese banquet would usually have the bride and groom walk down the aisle. The atmosphere is usually very formal and proper. I hope you enjoy our rendition of a grand entrance!
