During #GlobalWeekOfInclusion, we’re proud to celebrate 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 nominated by our athletes, coaches, families, and volunteers.

Nominated by Grace Payne, a specialolympicsnz athlete, we would like to introduce you to Adam Mainey, founder of Fortitude, a gym built on the belief that fitness should be for everyone. 

What started as a class with just 4 adaptive athletes has grown into a thriving community with 28 participants across 3 weekly classes, where people with and without intellectual disabilities train, grow, and compete together. 

At Fortitude, it's not just about lifting weights—it’s about lifting each other.

Adam is showing the fitness world what inclusion looks like. #ChooseToInclude #InclusiveFitness #PowerOfSport
