Congress has approved a $1.1 billion cut in previously authorized federal support for public broadcasting.

While this presents a serious challenge to WHYY and hundreds of stations nationwide, smaller and more rural stations could go dark…permanently.

A recent national poll shows public media is among the most trusted institutions in the country, connecting communities through facts, storytelling, and culture.
