## Caption

It's the 95th anniversary of the incorporation of the MG Car Company. 🇬🇧 Borne from William Morris' Morris Garages - hence the initials! - thanks almost wholly to Cecil Kimber, a man hired as a sales manager who became a designer and developer of affordable sports cars.

MG car production was already well underway by July 1930, and its growth into a separate company was further proof of their popularity. 📈 Kimber also saw the value of motorsport as a marketing tool - the original Midget took class wins at Brooklands, and the legendary Tazio Nuvolari won his second RAC Tourist Trophy in 1933 with a Magnette K3.
