It’s wild how we can look in the mirror and pick ourselves apart when our bodies are doing the most extraordinary things just to keep us alive. I have learned alot of acceptance in my life but what I know for sure is every scar I have, every part of me that looks different than it used to, is part of the story of how I survived, how I healed, how I kept going. This body has fought, adapted, rebuilt, and carried me into some of the most incredible chapters of my life. So today I’m choosing to say thank you. Thank you for healing.
