Founded by UIndy alumni Nimisha Goyal ’02 and Priya Gangwani ’05, Grassroot Projects is helping immigrant families across Indiana and Washington feel seen, supported, and celebrated. 

The nonprofit provides essential resources and joyful experiences for children who often carry adult-sized responsibilities.

“They’re the ones translating, filling out paperwork, and navigating a new world,” Goyal said. “We want them to just be kids again.”
