WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has weighed in on the return of his nephew, Roman Reigns, giving him a new nickname and stating that he should be in a singles match at SummerSlam.

On his “Off The Top” podcast, Rikishi praised the fan reaction to Reigns’ return and defended his part-time schedule. “The numbers don’t lie. And I’ll always say Samoan dynasty will always, will always, be good for business,” he said.

Rikishi also made it clear he doesn’t think the returning star should be in the rumored tag team match at SummerSlam. “Do I think God Mode needs to be in a tag? No, I don’t. God Mode stands alone,” he stated, introducing his new nickname for Reigns. “He’s the one that opens up opportunity, not only for the company, but for everybody that’s on this roster... Y’all making money, and y’all should be thanking him.”
