AEW star Marina Shafir recently shared a disturbing story about a physical altercation she had with a male co-worker at a gym on a show day.

Speaking on Saraya's "Rulebreakers" podcast, Shafir recounted being "f---ing shoved from behind" while she was stretching. "I was uncomfortable. I did not invite that," Shafir said. "I had my f---ing headphones in. I'm minding my own f---ing business."

As a trained MMA fighter, Shafir explained that she retaliated in self-defense after the co-worker continued to taunt her. The last thing she remembers saying to him was, "I will f---ing take your money. Don't ever f---ing touch me, ever again." She noted that despite not being the instigator, she was shaken by the incident and worried about losing her job.
