Large Varsity Division I 7th place! Definitely not the placement that we wanted, but we are not disappointed in the outcome. The only thing we are disappointed in is the fact that we couldn’t hit zero in front of the castle in our very last performance as a team. Cheerleading is about so much more than winning and losing. It’s about the fact that even after their less than perfect routine and awards, these kids stayed in the field house to cheer and scream for their all of their friends in their own quest for a zero and a championship. It’s about the fact that they jumped up and down for our friends from Bingham when they claimed their first National Championship even though they were our competitors, and were genuinely happy for everyone that had a great championship Sunday. It’s about the fact that these kids are kind and friendly to everyone that they meet, and that they are always humble and grateful for all of the love and support that they receive. Despite the setbacks and challenges, this season has been special in so many ways. Mostly because of the amazing human beings that each of these athletes are. Win or lose, we would choose them every day. They are kind and friendly, and they always root for everyone to succeed. They make us laugh and cry and we couldn’t love them more or be more proud that they are part of our program. 7th place is nothing when you are surrounded by the best, and when you have lots of people to love that also love you. Thank you NHSCC 2025 for keeping us humble and for helping us to expand the people that we call family and friends.
