Meet Madeleine Poissonnier ’26, a rising senior defender on the Brown Women’s Water Polo team! 🐻💦 Originally from Tustin, California, Maddie chose Brown for its unique combination of high-level athletics and academic opportunity, something that’s paid off in and out of the pool.

This summer, she’s interning as a software engineer at CoStar Group in Washington, D.C., where she’s building a chatbot and applying what she learned in Brown’s new AI courses 🤖💻. She credits the Career Center for helping her prep for interviews and polish her resume, giving her the tools to land this competitive role.

From mentorship lunches to a sunset cruise on the Potomac, Maddie is making the most of her summer, balancing hard work with memorable moments alongside fellow interns 🚢🌇.

With over 120 career steals, CWPA All-Conference honors, and standout performances year after year, Maddie’s making an impact in and out of the water. 💪🏽
