#TSRUpdatez: Atlanta rapper #CashOut, was sentenced to life in prison Monday after being convicted of rape, sex trafficking, pimping, aggravated sodomy, and related charges.

During his sentencing, Gibson maintained his innocence and criticized the jury’s verdict, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.

Prosecutors said Gibson, 34, along with his mother Linda Smith, known as #MamaCash and cousin #TyroneTaylor, used their record label as a front to exploit women for years. Smith was sentenced to 20 years for racketeering and 10 years for trafficking, to be served concurrently. Taylor received life in prison for rape and aggravated sodomy, plus 60 additional years for trafficking, assault, false imprisonment, and drug possession.
