CHEESY PINEAPPLE PORK CHOPS🐷🍍🧀
We love these stuffed pork chops with pineapples, onions, and cheeses and so will you!⤵️⤵️⤵️

Pineapples, onions, and 2 varieties of melty cheese come together to make the most delicious pork chops!

Ingredients
2 thick-cut pork chops, 1 ½ inch thick from Wilders Brand
2 tablespoon Durant olive oil
3/4 teaspoon Spicelopedia Peri-Peri with Bird’s Eye Chili
1 pineapple, cored and sliced
1/2 medium onion, sliced
3/4 cups of Swiss Cheese and Fontina (grated) Ammerlander

Instructions
PREPARE PORK CHOPS
Season the pork with olive oil and seasiongs on all sides.

Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. When it is hot, add the Durant olive oil and place the pork chops into the pan. Cook until golden, 2 to 3 minutes.

Flip the chops so that the seared side is facing up. If there is a fattier side of the pork, use kitchen tongs to hold the chops, fat-side-down until it sizzles and browns slightly; about 30 seconds.

TO FINISH
Heat the oven to 400° F.

Place the skillet back over medium heat and toss in the onions and pineapple. Cook them for 3 to 4 minutes until they soften a little. When the pineapples are tender, and the onions are soft, turn off the heat.

When the pork chops are cool enough to handle, spread the cheese and onion mixture.

Arrange the remaining pineapples and onions in the middle of the skillet, creating a bed for the pork chops. Place the pork down onto the pineapples and onions.

Bake until your ThermoPro Twin TempSpike thermometer reads 143° Fahrenheit when inserted into the thickest part of the chop, 15 to 20 minutes.

Remove the skillet from the oven and let the pork rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
