After box office stumbles with "Captain America: Brave New World" and "Thunderbolts," Marvel Studios is betting big on one final 2025 win: #TheFantasticFour: First Steps." And early signs look strong.

Independent trackers projected a $110M opening earlier this week — and that was before "First Steps" landed an 87% on Rotten Tomatoes and strong pre-sale momentum. 

Now, insiders say it could beat expectations and even challenge #Superman’s $125M debut, which would make it the year’s third-highest opening behind #AMinecraftMovie ($162.7 million) and #LiloAndStitch ($146 million).
