“At my Jiu-jitsu academy, which is my studio of sorts, I capture moments and memories on the mats, featuring people from all walks of life. In this shot, I focused on framing rogergracie, the greatest Jiu-jitsu competitor of all time, while showing the motion of students warming up around him. 

Jiu-jitsu is not just about martial arts, it’s about community, grit, and building confidence. I wanted to reflect that spirit in this composition, where movement, friendship, and focus meet at the heart of Roger’s school.”
