Catching the right moment 📸

“In February, I went on my first wetland tour to Thalangama Wetland. That day a thick fog unexpectedly rolled in, but I didn’t lose hope. I wanted to capture low-angle photos of water birds using the FUJIFILM X-H2S camera and XF500mmF5.6 lens.

As I had hoped, the fog gradually cleared, revealing a beautiful sun. The entire environment took on a golden hue. In that fleeting moment, I spotted the Gray-headed Swamphen walking forward in search of food. I captured the scene and this particular photograph stood out among the rest. The charm of the light, the bird’s gaze, and the beauty of the water droplets splashing as it moved made this moment truly special.”
