“This image captures one of the many beautiful valleys in the North Yorkshire Moors, bathed in soft early morning light. Two sheep make their way down a narrow, winding road towards a misty backdrop. 

Despite being taken at the height of winter, I love how the warm glow of a sunrise can give a barren landscape depth and texture, creating a dreamy atmosphere that’s complimented by the mist in the background of the image. 

I was drawn to the scene by the two sheep in the foreground, giving the image a subject to focus on. Maybe they were as captivated by the landscape as I was?”
