## Caption

A very groovy glass of Blackberry Lavender Lemonade. ✨💚🧡💛 this is a simple as can be recipe but add such a sweet little zip to your day! If your summer is going anything like mine then you need ALL the things to beat the heat. Ingredients
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water 
4 tbs dried culinary lavender
1 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice
5 cups water 
Blackberries
Fresh lavender (for garnish) 
Make the simple syrup: Add the sugar, 1 cup of water and lavender to a small sauce pan. Warm over medium heat until sugar has dissolved. Allow to sit 1 hour. Strain out lavender. 
Make the lemonade: Add the lemon juice, Simple syrup, and 5 cups water to a pitcher. Stir to combine. Refrigerate until ready to serve. 
Make the drink: add blackberries to the bottom of a glass. Muddle until juices have released. Add ice on top of the berries. Pour over lemonade. Stir to combine. Top with fresh lavender and more berries! Enjoy!
