We are pleased to announce that Tracy McKnight will join our Creative team as Vice President, Creative, Film, TV & Visual Media. In this role, McKnight will lead the day-to-day functions of the Film, TV & Visual Media department. She will help identify and sign new affiliates to BMI, while continuing to cultivate and nurture relationships with the company’s industry-leading roster of film, TV and visual media composers. McKnight will also help develop programs and events that support career development and provide opportunities to highlight the creative works of BMI’s composers.

McKnight brings a wealth of music and film industry experience to BMI. She spent more than two decades as an esteemed creative executive and award-winning music supervisor with over 170 film and TV credits to date. Most recently, she oversaw the film score acquisition department at Wise Publishing and secured the music assets for many award-winning projects such as Sean Penn's Flag Day, for which she won a Hollywood Music & Media Award (HMMA), and The World to Come, which garnered an #IvorNovello Award for her collaboration with composer Daniel Blumberg. Other accolades include eight Guild of Music Supervisors Award nominations and a win for her work on the critically acclaimed documentary #Halston. She also has several upcoming projects including Ray Romano’s directorial debut, Somewhere in Queens (Lionsgate/Roadside Attractions), the Donna Summer documentary, Donna Summer, Love to Love You Baby (Polygram Entertainment) and the romantic comedy, She Came to Me (Protagonist Pictures).
