🚨Today’s focus: mastering the forehand to backhand deke and shot — a high-level skill used to create space and deceive goaltenders in tight scoring situations 🏒🥅

Players worked on:

🔁 Forehand to Backhand Deke – Initiating the move by attacking with speed and shifting the puck from forehand to backhand with strong top-hand control. This forces the defender or goalie to bite and opens up space.

🔄 Backhand to Forehand Pull & Quick Release – After the initial fake, the puck is pulled back to the forehand with a sharp cut, using inside edges for balance and explosiveness. The shot is released quickly before the goalie can reset.

⚡️ Key Details:
	•	Hand speed is critical to selling the fake and maintaining puck control.
	•	Inside edge work allows quick lateral movement and balance through the deke.
	•	Head up through the entire sequence to scan for goalie movement and net openings.
	•	Low stance & strong posture = better control and quicker transitions between hands.
