April 27 was a great day. Elias’s 14th birthday was nothing short of amazing — a joyful celebration of life, strength, and transformation. The road has been anything but easy. Yet through it all, Elias has shown extraordinary strength. He’s faced every challenge with courage beyond his years. Surrounded by love, this birthday was more than a party — it was a symbol of survival, a marker of growth, and a reminder that even in the hardest seasons, there’s so much to celebrate. He was so overwhelmed with the love everyone has shown him.

Most recently, since his birthday, he has grown increasingly weary. His eating and sleeping have become more erratic, and his temper shorter. All we can do is meet it all with as much love as we can give. With each passing day, his strength fades under the weight of this illness. In his cries, we hear a soul reaching out—for comfort, for healing, for just a little more time. His pain runs deep, and when he speaks of his suffering—of feeling life slipping away—it breaks our hearts in ways words can’t express. 

We are desperate to make as many more memories with him as we can—to hold on to the light he still brings into our lives. Every shared moment, every smile, every word means more than ever now. We invite and encourage anyone who knows and loves Elias to reach out, to remind him that he is not alone, that he is deeply loved, and that his life has touched so many. Thank you all who have been with us on this journey from the bottom of our hearts.
 Your love, support, and prayers have meant more than words can say. In times like these, we’re reminded of the power of community, kindness, and faith.
