🇬🇧Emma Watson has been banned from driving in the UK for six months after committing her fourth speeding offense in two years.

The latest incident occurred on July 31, 2024, when she was caught driving 38 mph in a 30 mph zone in Oxford.

This added three penalty points to her existing nine, pushing her total to 12 and triggering an automatic suspension under UK driving laws.

The court hearing, held on July 16, 2025, at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court, also included a fine of £1,044.

Watson did not attend the hearing, but her lawyer confirmed she was able to pay the penalty.

The ban highlights a pattern of repeat offenses, with prior speeding convictions recorded in October and November 2023 and January 2024.

Interestingly, on the same day and at the same court, fellow Harry Potter actress Zoë Wanamaker (Madam Hooch) received an identical ban and fine for similar infractions.

Watson, who is currently studying creative writing at Oxford and is known for her eco-conscious public image, will now be off the road until early 2026.
