Today marks the point when humanity has used up all of Earth’s natural resources for the year. In Seoul, Taipei, and Tokyo, record-breaking heat 🌡️ is a harsh reminder: the climate crisis is here — threatening our survival, our children’s future, and our shared home. 🏠👶⁣

This year’s Overshoot Day —24 July 2025— is the earliest ever recorded.⁣
⁣
 #MoveTheDate isn’t just a slogan — it’s a call to action. ⚠️⁣
⁣
In East Asia, where overshoot days fall as early as March, April or May due to high carbon footprints in densely populated, industrialized societies, urgent action is need:⁣
 🔋 Phase out fossil fuels⁣
 ⚡ Scale up renewables⁣
 🌳 Protect forests and oceans⁣
