Nearly seven in 10 employers are planning to increase hiring of skilled #contractworkers in the second half of 2025, according to a recent report produced by Robert Half Canada, a recruiting firm. 

The reason for this growing demand for temporary talent: hiring short-term staffers can give companies the ability to retain individuals with expertise quickly and adjust workloads more easily based on business needs.

Temporary gigs can also be a boon for contract workers who seek diverse opportunities, increased flexibility over their time, and the power to set their own rates.
