1) The Channels Slot Canyon - Natural Channels Area Preserve - 6.5 miles out and back/1,400 feet elevation gain, 20 acre natural sandstone maze, firetower, panoramic vista with mountain views 

2) Mendota Fire Tower - 1/2 mile out and back/265 elevation gain, incredible views from the rocky outcropping 

3) Clinch River State Park - explore the trail hat follows the river for a tranquil nature walk 

4) Blue Bell Island - stroll along the Clinch River in St Paul/a must see when the blue bell flowers are in bloom

5) Rent a Kayak or Tube to float the Clinch River with clinchlifeoutfitters - various lengths of floats & paddles 

6) Rent an ATV to explore the spearheadtrails from western.front.hotel 

7) Waterfall Chasing - Tank Hollow Falls is just steps from the parking lot and Big Falls located in Pinnacle Natural Area Preserve
