🌎 Sometimes you just need to get away! England has always been on my bucket list for international travel and when an opportunity came up to be able to go, I jumped at it.

✈️ Required for travel:
• A Passport 
• ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) 

🛫 Flew with icelandair to Iceland and then connected from Iceland to London Heathrow. Then took the train from the airport to my Airbnb stop in London. 

💵 Money:

British Pounds are used. Order money prior to travel to avoid high exchange rates) But tapping is the best way you can pay, as you never even have your take your credit card out of your wallet. Buses, trains, restaurants, shopping, restaurants, experiences, everywhere allows you to pay this way. 

Currently: 1 pound British Sterling is equal to $1.26 US dollars 

❣️I had an amazing time exploring London and took a day trip to the White Cliffs of Dover and Canterbury. Great food, shopping, history, museums, and every person I encountered was super nice and polite. 

I visited the Tower Bridge, London Tower, Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, Natural History Museum, Notting Hill, Portobello Road Market, Bourough Market, London Eye, Big Ben, London Bridge, Hyde Park, St James Park, Harrods, and so much more!
