❣️The city of Richmond is a great place to see the beautiful spring blossoms each year. Here are 5 terrific places to go to see some Spring color.

📍Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden
🌷a sea of tulips, daphodils, magnolia, and cherry trees
☀️ beautiful place to walk and enjoy the gardens and cafe
(entrance fee or membership)

📍Agecroft Hall 
🌷so many tulips and an array of spring blooms
🏠tour the exterior gardens and/ or the historic Agecroft hall interior
(entrance fee)

📍Hollywood Cemetery
🌸 one of my FAV places in Richmond to see cherry trees; find them at President Circle and the tomb of John Monroe
🔍 keep driving around until you get to the incredible views of the James River and the city of Richmond
(free entry)

📍Maymont Park 
🌷the Italian Garden is loaded with tulips and daffodils.
☀️ fantastic walk through the Japanese gardens, spotting old gorgeous trees of many varieties, and the petting zoo

📍Byrd Park 
🌸 cherry trees surround Fountain Lake and a big beautiful magnolia tree is close by too
(free entry)

📆 Bloom times vary year to year, but tulips are just starting to pop up from the ground. Cherry and Magnolias usually  peak the last 2 weeks of March.
