The Bugatti Tourbillon is a completely new mid-engine hybrid hypercar, unrelated in components to the Chiron, built around an aerospace-grade T800 carbon monocoque that integrates a 25 kWh battery as a structural element and supports AI-designed, 3D-printed suspension links that are roughly 45% lighter than its predecessor’s setup.

Powered by a naturally aspirated 8.3 L Cosworth V16 engine (≈1000 PS) and three electric motors (≈800 PS), it delivers around 1,800 PS, enabling sub-2-second 0–100 km/h sprints and a top speed of approximately 445 km/h (≈277 mph).

Aerodynamically, Bugatti engineers extensively employed CFD and wind tunnel testing on a half-scale model before full-size prototypes, optimizing underfloor Venturi tunnels (over 2 m long) and a sculpted rear diffuser that doubles as crash structure, all designed to achieve aerodynamic neutrality (neither lift nor downforce) at top speed, thereby eliminating the need to deploy the rear wing until braking or cornering.
