“Dear PNMs,

As I reflect on my own recruitment journey three years ago, I never could have imagined how deeply I would come to love Phi Mu and the incredible women who make it so special. Coming from out of state, I was nervous about finding my place in a new, unfamiliar environment. But from the moment I walked through the doors of Phi Mu, I felt an immediate sense of belonging. I knew I had found my home away from home.

The women in this chapter have supported me, encouraged me, and believed in me even when I didn’t fully believe in myself. They’ve opened doors to opportunities I never imagined I’d pursue and have helped me grow into the best version of who I am today. Their constant love and support have shaped my college experience in the most meaningful way.

As you begin this exciting and emotional process, my biggest piece of advice is to stay grounded in what matters most to you—your values, your dreams, and the person you hope to become. The chapter meant for you will see you for who you are, and most importantly, will cheer you on, lift you up, and help you grow into everything you’re meant to be.

Phi Mu has helped me grow in ways I never thought possible—fueling my passions and surrounding me with people who inspire and uplift me every single day. I’m beyond excited for you to begin this journey and hope that you too find a chapter that feels like a home away from home, just like I did.
