In the film, Compy appears to be cute until encountering an unsuspecting little girl on the beach in the opening sequence. It turns out to be like a piranha on legs. The Procompsognathus or “Compy” for short, measures 14 x 5 x 6 in. and is constructed of cast dense foam rubber over a poseable internal armature.
