Lovense is an internet-connected adult toy brand that allows users to interact with various gadgets from afar through its app.

Security researchers found two flaws putting its estimated 20 million users at risk. First, users’ email addresses were visible to anyone who knew their usernames. Second, they found a way for hackers to take over an entire account.

While these flaws went unresolved for weeks, Lovense recently told Bleeping Computer they will be fixed in an update rolling out to app stores soon.

“The full update is expected to be pushed to all users within the next week. Once all users have updated to the new version and we disable older versions, this issue will be completely resolved.”
