NEXT FRIDAY, our NYC Jazz & Contemporary Intensive: SPECTRUM culminates in a final performance that reflects a summer immersed in bold exploration, relentless rigor, and fearless artistic risk. In the heart of New York City, dancers have spent the summer navigating the space between precision and vulnerability—where movement is not just executed, but revealed. This performance invites a range of expression, challenging each artist to stretch beyond form, to sit inside discomfort, and to discover the limitless textures and colors of their artistic voice.⁠

Led by Artistic Director Angelica Stiskin and brought to life by the powerful choreography of Emily Bufferd, Cat Cogliandro, JoiLynn Hopkins, Angel Kaba, Blake Krapels, Joanna Numata, Nicholas Palmquist, Maiya Redding, Monique Smith, Angelica Stiskin, and Amy Yakima, this culminating performance gathers a range of perspectives into one shared space. Together, these works create a collective portrait of transformation—unfinished, complex, and deeply alive with possibility. ⁠
