I have decided to hang up my cleats and retire from baseball.

First off I want to thank God for blessing me with the ability and opportunity to play this game I love for as long as I was able to.

My support system! My wife, son & family. Thank you for all the sacrifices yall have made in order to allow me to follow my dreams. I can’t express it enough how important yall are to me. I could not have done this without amazing people behind the scenes every single step of the way.

To all my coaches and teammates. Thank you as well for all the memories. The amount of time we spend together is unlike anything else. Many friendships made and lessons learned as we became men together and I thank you all for each moment.

Thank you to the Arizona Diamondbacks & Miami Marlins for taking a chance on me and giving me an opportunity to try to make it to the big leagues.

Lastly, Kane County. Thank you so much for everything. Yall welcomed me and my family like no other. The memories we were able to create will be cherished forever by our family! Very grateful for the many summers in Geneva.

I am so grateful for my time in this game and everything I have learned throughout this journey. Thank you for keeping up and I’m excited for what’s next!
