🚨 CAUGHT IN SCV! 🚓
Last night, our Summer Team deputies spotted a suspicious pickup parked behind a closed business on Soledad Canyon Rd in Canyon Country.

Deputies contacted two individuals, a 33-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man, both from Bakersfield. The woman was found to be on probation for Receiving Stolen Property. Further field investigation revealed the male suspect was wanted in multiple counties on felony warrants including ones for Cruelty to a Child and Grand Theft.

Deputies discovered a stolen store scanner valued at over $1,500 and methamphetamine in the vehicle.

Both suspects were arrested and booked on felony charges of Possession of Stolen Property and misdemeanor charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance.  The male suspect was additionally charged with misdemeanor False Identification to a Peace Officer. Both suspects remain in custody.
