Congratulations to Valentino Blewett who qualified to be nominated to represent Canada at the 2025 Youth Sailing World Championships to be held December 12-20 in Vilamoura, Portugal. As stated in Sail Canada's Athlete Selection System and Requirements for the 2025 Youth Sailing World Championships, Valentino Blewett get the spot by being the top Canadian at the 2025 iQFoil Youth and Junior World Championship held July 24-31 in Brest, France. Blewett took the 28th position out of 149 sailors in the Men's U19 event, while the only other Canadian in action, Simón Fauser, finished in 100th position.
