## Caption

July was one of those months that somehow felt like it moved quickly and slowly all at once. It was also a heavy one here in Texas, as devastating floods took so many precious lives. My heart continues to go out to everyone affected. If you feel called to help, I’ve shared a list of organizations supporting recovery efforts in my Instagram highlights.

On a brighter note, Kaila and I traveled to Chicago for a project in Kenilworth, which may be one of the most charming towns I’ve visited. The hydrangeas were in full bloom, the streets were peaceful and tree-lined, and we had a productive few days that left us feeling inspired and excited for what’s ahead.

This month, we’re highlighting grass green. It feels especially fitting for August, a time when so much of life happens outdoors surrounded by nature. Green symbolizes renewal, balance, and growth. Whether used on walls, cabinetry, upholstery, or accessories, it brings a sense of calm and grounded energy to a space. It is timeless, fresh, and easy to love.

July was a reminder to slow down, take in the beauty around us, and hold each other a little closer. I’m looking forward to a fresh start, a new month, and all the inspiration August has to offer.
