Transgender actor Elliot Page is being held up as a positive example of masculinity at a London primary school.

Streatham Wells Primary School in south London has created lessons that challenge unproductive gender stereotypes.

Alongside The Umbrella Academy star, the materials also include Disney characters and Harry Styles to show the many ways someone can ‘be a man’.

“They show that masculinity can mean softness and strength, and everything in between,” headteacher Sarah Wordlaw told Teachwire.
