A Walker County man remains in critical condition after a vicious attack by a pack of up to 10 stray dogs, marking it the third dog attack in Alabama in recent weeks.

The Greater Birmingham Humane Society was on the scene and found over 40 stray dogs roaming the area in the days following the incident, and is still looking for more.

The Animal Department Health also released a report following two recent attacks in central Alabama.
