It appears the Walt Disney Company has gotten itself out of a pickle by reaching a, ahem, dill, to make a Portland-based lawsuit go away.

In May, the operators of the Portland Pickles summer league baseball team filed a federal lawsuit against Disney alleging trademark infringement.

They claimed their mascot – Dillon T. Pickle – their team name and merchandise had been effectively ripped off by a new animated series on Disney’s streaming service. The show, called “Win or Lose,” is about a co-ed softball team named the Pickles, while real-life merchandise being sold in stores features a team logo with, you guessed it, a smiling pickle.
