❗️The 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S has been spotted testing at the Nürburgring without any camouflage, giving us a clear look at the brand’s most powerful 911 yet.

While the design tweaks are subtle, the real story is under the skin.

This new Turbo S will debut Porsche’s T-Hybrid system in a high-output configuration, pairing a twin-turbo flat-six with electric assistance for the first time in a Turbo model.

Power is expected to reach around 700 horsepower, a major jump from the current model’s 640 hp.

The T-Hybrid setup, first introduced on the new Carrera GTS, uses a 400-volt architecture, an electric motor integrated into the transmission, and an electric turbocharger that eliminates lag while improving torque delivery at low RPM.

A lightweight 1.9 kWh battery, mounted under the front hood where the 12V battery used to be, delivers short bursts of electric boost without the need for plug-in charging or the bulk of traditional hybrid systems.

In the GTS, this tech already delivers sharper throttle response and improved acceleration, scaled up for the Turbo S, it promises even more brutal launches and relentless mid-range power.

Despite the hybridization, Porsche has designed the system for performance, not efficiency.

The upcoming Turbo S should retain its all-wheel-drive grip, lightning-quick PDK gearbox, and daily drivability, now enhanced by instant electric torque.

As testing continues at the Nürburgring, it’s clear this will be the fastest and most advanced Turbo S ever built.
