His comments followed a strong statement from China’s Commerce Ministry regarding the potential additional 50% U.S. tariff: “If the U.S. side is bent on having its way, China will follow to the end.” ➡️ "The big decisions for CEOs are investing, and allocating capital for the long term. Do I build a plant in the U.S. because tariffs are going to keep me out, or I'm going to have to pay tariffs?" he said. ➡️ “If President Trump wants to send a message that these tariffs are open to negotiation, he needs to do something before Wednesday, before the 9th,” he added.
