We said so long to Center for Women resident TiShekka Cain earlier this month, after her sentence was commuted to time served by Gov. Roy Cooper.

Ti, as she’s affectionately known, has had many hurdles she’s had to overcome, but she’s remained determined. She was unfortunately hit by a car on her way to work in June and had to spend time in the hospital. She was transferred back to prison to recover and returned to CCT only to be released several months later. 

Ti’s now with her family, and we wish her continued success.
