🍓 Vanilla Sheet Cake with Lavender Macerated Strawberries

🍨 Here’s what you need to try this at home:

Vanilla Sheet Cake:
3 cups all-purpose flour 
1 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt 
4 large eggs (room temperature) 
3/4 cup canola oil 
1 cup milk of choice 
1 tbsp vanilla extract (I typically measure with my heart)

Topping:

Whipped Cream:
1 cup heavy cream 
1 cup powdered sugar 
1/2 tbsp vanilla extract

Lavender Macerated Strawberries:
1 lb strawberries 
1 to 2 tbsp of lavender extract 
1 to 2 tbsp of lemon juice 
3 tbsp of sugar or honey
