I've been fishing lake Ontario since 2016.  I've seen baitfish while fishing maybe once or twice until this year.  I have never seen so much baitfish presence, both Smelt and Alewife!  While we kept them honest throwing the bigger baits like Kapsiz and S Trout, when the bite got tough we could pick up a small finesse swimbait like the 3 & 4 inch biwaa_usa Kapsiz swimbaits on a defiantfishing Jighead and catch them fairly easily. 

This is a great combination for matching the hatch around all kinds of fin bait no matter where you're fishing.  The best thing about this combo is that we are routinely catching 10-20+ fish per swimbait with the twistlock keeper on these heads.  No more getting your bait pantsed, and ruining your presentation if you get a short bite. 

No more digging through your tackle box frantically when the bite is hot.  Unhook your bass, release (or keep) and fire another cast out! 

3/16oz and 1/8oz Defiant Jigheads pair perfectly with the 3" Kapsiz but a 1/4oz also works when the wind or current is up.

1/4 & 3/8oz Defiant Jigheads are perfect for the 4" Kapsiz but a 1/2 & 5/8 work in the wind and current beautifully.  These heads were designed with smaller hooks to maintain profiles to allow heavier options for these scenarios.  Everything has a purpose and a why - at least Defiant Products do.
